Service above Self

See what Lemoore rotary club is all about

Lemoore Rotary Club lives by the motto of Service Above Self and we demonstrate it through our many local, regional, and international service projects.

As proud members of rotary and the community of Lemoore, we work hard to support the needs of the citizens of Lemoore and beyond. From supporting our local youth with scholarships, books, and leadership camps, to helping fund parks, public venues, and food aide right here in lemoore, we take pride in our service and hope you will join and support us in our efforts. Check out our projects page for more details on all that we do.

Lemoore Rotary Club meets weekly at noon at Club Skyy (formerly Teri's Grill) in Downtown Lemoore where we have our meeting while enjoying a great meal and fellowship. This is where we plan our many great events and service projects throughout the year giving our members a unique ability to network with other community and business leaders while serving the community in which they live or work. Please take a moment to look at our membership page to learn more about our club, its mission, and how you may be able to be a part of it. We are always looking for new members who are looking to make a difference our community and around the world.

Dictionary purchase and distribution to all third graders in Lemoore!

This project has been going on for years with our club and we are proud to keep up the tradition. Every year we purchase hundreds of dictionaries to donate to our elementary school third graders. The best part is when we get to go to the schools and share the contents of the dictionaries with the kids along with our Rotary message of service above self. It is very rewarding to know that when we speak to high school age students through our Interact Club, Camp Royal, and scholarships, that many of those students still have their dictionary and remember our visit to their schools!

Cooking and donating food for community events

You may have seen our famous Lemoore Rotary BBQ around at events like the Lemoore NJROTC Dinner, The Lemoore Middle College High School Interact Club Spring Concert, the City of Lemoore's Evening Under the Stars event, Relay for Life, Rotary Skate Park exhibitions, and many, many more! But, did you know that we cook at these events for free as part of our commitment to community service. It is not always easy work, but we get to meet so many wonderful people and connect Rotary to Lemoore. Next time you see us, come up and say hi! We would love to share all that we do.

Water Filtration Projects in Ecuador

The reach of Lemoore Rotary Club is global. In this picture you see members of our club training villagers in Ecuador how to use, maintain, and repair the water filtration system our club members just helped them install! We travel to these remote villages with all of the parts for the system in tow and then install and train over the next few days. Clean drinking water is taken for granted in our area, but it saves lives in the places we choose to support.
